I don't follow an "ideology" as such, for I find ideology to be far too limiting and restrictive.

I believe I possess a bit of both:
Personal improvement is important to me, but I also believe in doing so to further your community and society. I believe that materialism and consumerism are ultimately harmful, but I respect property rights.

Ideas of self-respect and improvement for society and be learned, I believe, from both. I just don't think we should have "one glorious leader" to do it all- that it has to be done through personal will and (again) self-improvement.
