Yeah I realized this a while ago when I was thinking about why people are bullies.

It actually helps social cohesion and weeds out bad behavior, as well as establishes a social hierarchy, with the bullies being at the top of the ladder - the leaders.

But, often times it goes over the top and when a kid starts becoming depressed and giving up, you should stop the bullying and try being nice. Because if you keep pressing him you're just building a school shooter.

This was true in my school.
