I think his point is that it's too hard for the majority of people. A good percentage of the population needs help when their computer wont turn on cause its unplugged or they clog their shit with adware and toolbars.

Obviously building a pc is easy for people who browse the internet but for the majority of people who don't know the basics of tech, it seems really hard. And most people don't understand how simple it is, like they just think "wow you built a computer" not knowing that you literally just put parts together.

2) Applying thermal paste correctly.
3) Installing motherboard and cpu into case with lots of screws and insert the jumper cables correctly.

7) having the emotional intelligence to not quit before this all gets done.
