Would you have liked to be a writer, robots? You get to stay inside, being alone all day is socially acceptable, be creative with your time etc.
I always thought it would be comfy as heck
I want to be a writer. I want to write fantasy fiction. I know everybody wants this, but I still do because of my own reasons not because I am a kid who likes dragonlance.though dragonlance is a classic

Goddamn man
I want to be a writer so bad, even if it kills me, but holy shit I need to get better at descriptions. All I have is concepts, but I'm really excited.
I write. (Not professionally.) Just finished a 130k word story with my partner this past week.
Being a writer is something that really impresses me and is one of my dreams/dream versions of my life
I started doing it recently, wrote a couple of short stories. I want to send them out for publication but scared of rejection
I want to be a writer so bad, man.

descriptions are overrated.
What I mean is that overdescribing is a common beginner mistake.
As somebody said once sometime somewhere, writing is more about what you omit than what you do say.
In fact here are some hints for all would-be writers. Don't take this as cast in stone though, use your fucking brain.
Be succint, adding words does nothing but clutter what you intend to say. Conciseness is the best way to get a message through. Unless being overly verbose is part of the experience you want to transmit (like in Waiting for Godot, where they're just waiting there talking awkwardly and the reader is filled with tedium).
Don't abuse thesauruses. Use simple words. Do get some vocabulary, learn the precise meaning and also the "vibe" that each word gives, so you can use it at the best time.
Describe through events. If your character is an anxious sperg, you don't want to state "Anon Bananas is an anxious sperg", this should be clear from his actions and reactios.
Hide parts of the story. Don't tell all, be picky in what parts of what is going on you tell at a given time, at the end you don't want to leave loose ends, but during the storyline you should keep some motives hidden for them to be revealed later on, this gives the story some sense of depth and also makes it less linear.
Hope it helps. Just some stuff I've been picking up over time.
