I live in Scotland so the law is i can have a 125cc with no license and i have to put two red L's on my bike.
Still though my Yamaha YBR is cheap and you get so much fun even on the weaker bikes like these

It is fun. If you get one though, spare yourself the hassle and get a Japanese bike. A Suzki or a Honda will do you fine.

Better to buy new desu. You lose value when you buy a new motorcycle but you get a long warranty in case anything goes wrong, so it makes up for it.

Motorcycle repair can take a lot of time and a fair amount of money if you do it yourself. It can be fun in a way but if you have a busy lifestyle you probably won't have time to be fiddling around with your bike and still have time to ride it.

Also, newer bikes are more reliable than older ones, by far. The technology has advanced to the point that modern motorcycles are very nearly as reliable as modern cars. Older bikes were nowhere near as reliable as a car.

Just stick with ones from Japan. They make the greatest bikes on earth.

Stay far away from Indian/Chinese trash.
