I miss it so much. Am in a city for college and it fucking sucks. When you're lonely it's so much better to be actually alone than to have to be lonely amongst lots of happy people. It just makes my life miserable. I just want to be out in the open fields by myself :*(

I have lived in the middle of the woods since 1993. I don't really do anything at all in my local area and I have to drive around 45 minutes to get to do anything.

OPs pic is a suburban town. That's not rural. Rural places have lots of distance between homes, like a half a mile. They are definitely not built one upon the other.
