This. Always felt excluded from the dating world. I'm 27 now never had a gf. Don't know if there is any hope for me. It does worry me sometimes but I'm concentrating on other stuff at the moment so it's not so bad.

Its not because they dont want to be bothered but just like you, they are somewhat shy to strangers and may feel a bit uncomfortable.

You never know until you try. Yes a lot will say no but as long as you are polite and stay positive you will eventually suceed. If 20 turn you down but 1 says yes, isnt that worth it ?
Getting turned down is only painfull the first time and most girls are polite when they turn you down as long as your are so that helps

True, although it is made more difficult by the fact that I am below average. However what really screws me is that I live in a rural town, have no friends that live near me. Also I still live at home. So tell me, what sort of woman, even if I could find an opportunity to meet women would want me? It's very easy for to sit there and write down generic advice to people, but everyone is different and at the moment, at least in that area I'm fucked.

Already go to gym. Virtually no one talks to anyone except amongst themselves if they go in a group. Apart from that the only sort of clubs in my area are sports clubs and I'm not good at sports. Also as I already said the friends I do have don't live near me so a rarely get to hang out with them.

Came down to the conclusion that they way I am as a person won't let me have a gf.
