I was, then they put my on antipsychotics.

It was amazing. Going on them felt like thinking with a clear mind for the first time.

Don't try to self-diagnose. Let a psychiatrist do that (a real psychiatrist, don't talk to a psychologist).

I also wasn't sure what was going on in the beginning. The onset of my illness happened gradually enough that I kept on thinking it was different things. Eventually, the neurologist I was seeing referred me to a psychiatrist, and he said he thought I was schizophrenic.

He put my on the antipsychotics to see if they would help, and sure enough, after a few weeks, all of my symptoms went away.

Trust me, it's worth it talking to a doctor.
