I'm past forty and I sort of agree.

Young people are very sweet and polite. I worked in food service for years when I was younger, and it was always old people who gave me the most trouble.

Among people my age that I have to interact with, most of them have this "I'm tired, I'm old, that means I can do whatever I want, it's MY time" type attitude.

I guess people are always entitled, but they find new ways to rationalize it. Still, I find most young people to be very accommodating. Maybe it's because of their age (they're nervous, unsure in certain situations, more ready to seek help).
