Also earlier tonight I found out my old roommate has been part of a youtube channel for six months and never even told me about it. This guy was my closest friend in my whole life and we lived together for about 7 years.

You don't think she's attractive here? I found her photo on /int/.

When I look at body builders or any other healthy young person these days I feel depressed because I had the chance to hone my body once but now it would be extremely difficult because of health issues.
>>
>>34953590
Eh, she's pretty cute.

Personally I'm playing that Fate/Stay Night mobile game and arguing with /vg/ in my other tabs.

Also, give me the names of those fanfics you're reading. I like reading stuff other people are reading.
>>

It's called "To Fix a Marriage" and it is about femdom, breast expansion, muscle expansion, cock shrinkage, cock growth, giantesses, and futanari.

It's pretty good.

http://www.thevalkyrie.com/stories/misc4/marria2.txt

I'm also reading "power of light" which is less severe but is also about women growing into amazons. I actually like it better because I'm not really as much into the sadistic stuff.

http://www.thevalkyrie.com/stories/1misc11/lightpower.txt

You might have to refresh these links a few times. The Valkyrie's server doesn't seem to work too well these days. The site has been around for ages and I'm not sure if anyone is even looking after the hardware.

I'm watching a twitch stream, just finished watching an episode of House, and I'm puffing on my weed vaporizer. what are you chaps doing?

it's 3am and I should probably go to sleep soon

Hi

10101
>>
>>34953989
Drinking rosemary tea and putting vicks vapo rub on my chest to attempt to feel better. It's mildly effective. I should go to sleep now too but I'm in that bad zone where you're too tired to sleep and if you go to sleep now you know you'll have that deep bad sleep that usually has nightmares associated. So I'm waiting until 4 am which is closer to my normal time to go to bed.

I've seen every episode of House, and tried to watch some other medical dramas since but nothing has ever caught my interest the same way.
>>
>>34954030
I'm feeling that same way senpai! I've never had rosemary tea. Is it literally just rosemary in hot water?

I've watched almost all of House before too, the only other medical show I liked were the first season or two of Scrubs, but in general, the other medical dramas don't focus on the same kind of puzzles and intrigue that House had. It's definitely top tier
>>
>>34954003
I'm answering questions on /g/ but I don't actually know what I'm talking about. I wonder why I keep doing it?

I have found it's better to state your opinions and get BTFO by somebody in the know than ask questions on 4chan. Anon will write a more detailed response if they think they are telling you off.
>>
>>34953526
who is pic related. I keep seeing her/his pic
>>
>>34954062
Yes, it's just rosemary in hot water which is then strained out before drinking. I leave the rosemary in for about 5 minutes. It's a very light tea but it does have some tea flavor. I'm drinking it now because it doesn't have any caffeine but it has some of the same qualities as drinking tea or coffee.

I used to drink chicory for the same reason.
>>
>>34954089
I'm not sure, but the trap thread would probably know.
>>
>>34954064
Yup, that's basically 4chan for you. How long have you been coming here?

>>34954094
Nice, I like chicory. I used to live in Vegas, where rosemary is a super common thing to have everywhere... bushes all over the place. My house had five rosemary bushes, and I'd always clip some sprigs off for cooking. Shit was cash... I miss all the fresh rosemary. I never thought to try making it into a tea, though
>>
>>34954128
>I used to live in Vegas

it's super shit isn't it

And now I got to reading about this guy
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleksandr_Solzhenitsyn

who said

"Regarding atheism, Solzhenitsyn declared:

Over a half century ago, while I was still a child, I recall hearing a number of old people offer the following explanation for the great disasters that had befallen Russia: "Men have forgotten God; that's why all this has happened." Since then I have spent well-nigh 50 years working on the history of our revolution; in the process I have read hundreds of books, collected hundreds of personal testimonies, and have already contributed eight volumes of my own toward the effort of clearing away the rubble left by that upheaval. But if I were asked today to formulate as concisely as possible the main cause of the ruinous revolution that swallowed up some 60 million of our people, I could not put it more accurately than to repeat: "Men have forgotten God; that's why all this has happened."

I think I'm starting to become more religious again. Ruminations on the nature of the universe seem to suggest to me that gods could exist.

No way! It was kinda shit but I loved going out into the desert and spending the day exploring, away from everyone and everything. Just go out with a bag of jerky and a few bottles of water, it was peaceful and relaxing.

Where do you live now?
>>

portland, or

legitimately top tier forest aesthetic, and I kinda like hipsters now

they make really good coffee here.

Las Vegas is the one city I want to live in because I love playing games more than anything else in life (that I've experienced so far). I have read about 20 books and encyclopedias on the history of games over the centuries and the place I find the most peace in life is sitting at the table setting up the board or waiting for the cards to be dealt.

I know Vegas is supposed to be a pretty bad town to live in, but the place I live now isn't that great either, and there would be so much live history of gaming (in the classic sense, I don't mean the video kind) going on to observe and eventually write about.
>>
>>34954196
I'm really, really jealous. I visited portland once, and I loved the coffee, the forests, the weather, the people (never liked hipsters in other cities but they seemed genuinely friendly in Portland). I moved back to the east coast and I'm in nyc now, but I really miss the west coast in general.
>>
>>34954128
>How long have you been coming here?
Off and on since 2006.
Daily visits since 2012.
>>
>>34954213
Interesting that you like the gaming industry so much, senpai! well, Vegas is the place go to for that. I actually thought living there wasn't too bad, it was boring but there was some good food if you knew where to look. I had a friend who owns a vintage pinball arcade, that was fun to hang out at.

Cost of living was super cheap and that was nice. Where do you live now?
>>
>>34954180
The desert is pretty appealing because it's sterile. How often do people catch colds out there?
>>
>>34954213
desu i'd think it'd be dangerous for you to live IN vegas, like, i've heard of too many dudes ending up homeless and in despair because they moved to vegas for the gaming

>>34954231
this is pretty funny desu, I lived in nyc during my cheffing days, worked at le bernardin for a short stint :^)
>>
>>34954254
You're cute and you deserve happiness
>>34954259
You're not and you don't.
>>
>>34954254
I actually never really got sick, and since moving to nyc, I've gotten sick like 4 times in 6 months... I figured it was the population density, but it might have been the inverse, from the desert

>>34954259
haha then apparently I should be in Portland next! and that's a good point what you said to the other anon. people with addictive personalities should stay the fuck away from vegas, because it will literally eat you alive. Slots and games at every gas station, restaurant, bar, and grocery store, casinos within eyesight everywhere, it's bad.

If you just love games, but not necessarily being addicted to them, it could be ok. I knew someone who worked for ScientificGames (major gaming company) and everyone on his team loved games, they just wouldn't blow all their cash on it.
>>
>>34954251
Outside Memphis, Tennessee

I have read about the low cost of living and occasionally have notions of selling a lot of my games collection to move out there and start a new chapter. I don't have anything holding me back here other than the typical.
>>
>>34954254
about as often as anywhere else, we get weather fluctuations and they fuck with us the same as anywhere else. a lot of vegas institutions like the casino floor are breeding grounds for germs also.
>>34954289
if you say so anon :(
>>
>>34954319
I couldn't just up and move without getting a job or something, but you could probably get a decent start in Vegas with that. I was renting a 2000 sq ft house (three bed, 2.5 bath) for like $1200/mo... so it's really cheap there.
>>
>>34954319
unironically you can get a 1 bd apartment that isn't shit for $500 a month in vegas, food cost can be low if you go to asian/latin markets, etc. your electricity bill will double in the summer because you will NEEEEEED a/c.

oh, and vegas is a no mass transit town, you need a car. and the insurance will be nuts because vegas drivers are shit tier.

I'm pretty good about keeping my gambling habits in check. I've had to see a man lose his marriage and a lot of his life first hand because of gambling addiction, and that was only of the online variety.

I'm actually more of a Backgammon player than a Poker player, and Las Vegas is one of the few spots in the US where Backgammon is still played seriously.
>>
>>34954373
Dude yes, the Asian and Latin markets were great for groceries, produce especially.

Electricity bill gets expensive in the summer but in general, electricity is phenomenally cheap desu, because of the the Hoover dam and solar.

Having a car is a definite, and it sucks, but is insurance really that expensive? I think I paid $80 or $100/mo
>>
>>34953700
Alsight, so "Power of Light" was hot as fuck, strait out. It got a little too /fit/ for me at least latterm parts (waxing poetic about a girls lats?) but it was still really good. Kinda dissapointed the wasn't any actual depictions of sex.

I kinda glazed out during "How to fix a Marriage" and I'm gonna try to read it more closley. Dom/sub relationships just kinda make me feel depressed.
>>
>>34954427
best asian market: the korean market on rainbow/spring mountain

best latin market: la bonita, cardenas is pretty good too though

also I'm gonna say two words and you tell me how you feel about them:

el. gordo.
>>
>>34954330
>a lot of vegas institutions like the casino floor are breeding grounds for germs also.

Oh I imagine. This is a big concern for me because I get sick easily these days. I used to get deathly sick every time I'd go to a tournament across the country where a few hundred people would be milling around. I'd have to be careful.
>>
>>34954431
Yeah, Myostatinus is one of those authors who wrote a couple of amazing pieces and was never heard from again, as tends to be way too common in written erotica. If you google the name or email address you will find a couple of more parts to this series.

Did you grow up in that city? Must have been some warm nights in the summer with the old CRT monitors and desktop PCs in a small bedroom.

yeah, I did. and my parents had a tendency to not want to dip the A/C below like, 74. with my PCs and shit, my room was always vaguely sweaty.

>the korean market on rainbow/spring mountain
Yes! Greenland Supermarket. I love that place desu. La Bonita is definitely the best latin market too, for sure.

>el. gordo.
I only went there twice, because I lived in southwest vegas, but I love el gordo! their al pastor and suadero were damn good and cheap. I'd usually just go to taco y taco in Henderson since it was closer, definitely more expensive and hipster-y though, but the food was pretty authentic at least.

My turn: Monta or Sora?
>>
>>34954555
i'm actually not big on soupy food like ramen, especially in a hot climate, I fuck with ramen up here now obviously.

but monta was my go-to recommendation to others.
>>
>>34954521
Aphex Twin will always remind me of the game Wipeout.
>>
>>34954569
Portland or Las Vegas has better food?
>>
>>34954579
Ooh, true ramen is much more of a winter food for me. Sora was my fave, because their killer spicy miso ramen was like sex.

So did you live in north vegas?

>>34954633
I didn't spend enough time in Portland to give a good answer to that, but I think Vegas. Portland seemed very....white. Vegas has a big mexican and asian population (spillovers from Arizona and SoCal) so there was good variety.

Sushi's probably better in Portland desu
>>
well I believe I am off, friends. This thread was a comfort to me in a rough time. I'll look out if others pop up.
>>
>>34954633
portland. ingredient quality is much higher since everyone here is a locavore hipster jerk, say all you want about them, they get shit done in the kitchen.

unless you're looking to spend $100+ then Vegas wins without a doubt for obvious reasons.

>>34954670
portland has better mexican food with a quarter of the population. you just gotta leave portland proper and go to hillsboro/beaverton, same with the asians. look up taste of sichuan in beaverton, it's acclaimed for a reason.

sushi's actually better in Vegas, they do cheap ass, low quality converyor belt shit here. if you find a really solid AYCE in vegas, you're fucking set. my favorite was sushi mon at sahara/durango.

I spent most of my time living in Summerlin desu
>>
>>34954591
how does it remind you of that?
>>
>>34954730
Lol I knew I was in no position to answer that question. I stayed in Beaverton when I visited but spent all my time in Portland proper. I want to go back sometime, so I'll write down taste of Sichuan so I don't forget!

Good ayce sushi is fantastic in Vegas, and even regular sushi places were really good for the price. Naked Fish, Soho, and Sushi Hiro (that one'/ fairly newish) were bomb, I just figured being in the Pacific Northwest, Portland would have fresher access. Too bad desu

Summerlin is nice. I wanted to live there. I lived in Southern Highlands literally on the edge of town, my backyard opened up into the desert
