They both matter. A ton. Especially in a long-term relationship, and especially because the girl you're with will most likely get fat eventually, and will definitely get old.

To get a relationship started, looks are more important. To keep a relationship going, common interests are more important. To have a successful relationship, I'm of the mind that both together are a necessity.
