Seek something smaller/cheaper if possible, get rid of what you don't need, get a futon, things like that.

This. I live at home, but I have a really nice job. So I save a ton of money. It's the best way to go until you feel comfortable to leave.

I accomplished my first thing which was getting a car. Now I'm saving up enough to leave comfortably with complete safety.

It's alright, I put a small pad in there to sleep on, I got the back windows tinted too. It's comfortable enough, I usually just spend alot of time at my office. Helps of you are actually insane, giving up is a good way to go.

Depends on where I went. Like you I've only been to Asia. My most expensive trip was my last one. Went to Japan for 10 weeks with around 8k.

I did Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos for 3 months last year with 3k
