I wish I could help you, I really do. I have amazing sleep. All my life I've slept like a baby and still do. Sleeping this good is the one thing keeping me sane and keeps me in a good mood
I feel really bad for people who don't have this. But I don't know how to help

essential tips:
>stop looking at screens 90 mins before you want to sleep
>exercise at least every other day, even just walking helps
>don't sit all day, get a standing desk or just stand more
>bedroom should be cold and dark
>if you are ruminating on something either write down your response to the problem to think more about tomorrow or practice mindfulness mediation
Weed helps me a lot.
Also going to sleep really fucking tired. Stall sleeping as much as possible until you know you're gonna sleep as soon as you turn the computer off. Then say hello to lucid dreams.
Doesn't work if you have stuff to do the next day btw.

These are terrible tips imo. Drinking just makes you sleep like shit and not get enough rest. Melatonin is good for inducing sleep but it doesn't make sleep better. It just makes it possible.
Weed or xanax, better yet, both.

Dependant on strain but usually entails euphoria, pain relief (if in pain), sleepiness, body high, etc
Never understood how some people don't get high, but, I guess drugs affect everyone differently

Only if you're doing it wrong, I used to feel like shit and get hangovers when drinking, now I just drink a few gatorades before I pass out and it's better than normal sleep. As for melatonin it made sleep better at first, then I started having some sort of reaction to it and and had to wake up every 4 minutes to pee if you don't have a reaction to it you'll be fine.
Take off the day - a cleanse and a face mask to clean out the dirt. Put on a luxurious night cream that makes your skin feel supple and moisturized.
Turn off all technology an hour before bed and pick up a good read. Turn on a lavender scented diffuser during this time. Make some herbal tea to help feel more sleepy. Put on your satin slip face mask when you're ready to hit the pillow.
