Switched to Fedora 25 from Mint 17.3 I was lazy and stupid a week ago. I can't believe I waited so long. This is just objectively better.
Newer packages, not ancient Debian ones.
Fedora does EVERYTHING faster than Debian/Ubuntu/Mint.
Xfce is less buggy on Fedora. Gnome/MATE is shit. Cinnamon is for kids. KDE is too bloated.
Less bloatware bullshit out of the box.
Everything you can get on Mint, you can get on Fedora in a newer version.
Community's not as helpful as it is in Ubuntu/Mint, but I'm not retarded, so I can work those fixes and ideas into Fedora just fine.

Learning linux stuff now; I actually prefer the OS to windows. If I didn't have a crippling vidya addiction I'd be on Linux only. It does everything else but video games well.

Yeah I got so sick of looking for Windows 7 unlimited to use for my first rig so I'm going linux instead, I'm sure I'm doing myself a favor, but maybe one day when I find Windows 7 unlimited that's not over priced or a rip off I'll install it and compare the 2 os's to see who is really better, I'm sure linux will probably be the answer.

Not intelligent enough to use it daily. I've tried using Debian and some other distros before but I didn't set them up properly and I think that impacted my opinion of it. I would like to switch to it when I get a new hard drive, though. I'm thinking I'll install BunsenLabs, because that's what I've used the most and I'll just try to customize it the way I want.

Can't use good music production software on Linux, can't play good vidya, can't do fucking anything without it being a hassle.

Tried many variants on it, but they are all shit no matter what you slap onto it and try to tweak it yourself. Its like putting icing on a big load of shit.

Are you retarded?
If you have a video player (the disk should have been automounted in nautilus) installed just open nautilus and click on the video and it will get played.

Else type: "sudo apt-get install mpv" in the terminal and you get a video installer installed.
>>
>>34950939
There may be a reason but it happens more easily, and the average user doesn't really have the patience or interest to learn how to deal with it.
