No, because I know that it won't accomplish that. I often think about trying to delude myself into thinking I'm in a different world, though, like trying to create and live in that world in my head. I work on it a little bit when I'm lying in bed but not seriously as yet.

Meditate, work on improving the parts of your life you hate. If you can't muster the effort, it's time to get professional help. The thought that helped me get over my social awkwardness was realizing "Hey, this guys's a professional shrink. He's probably seen people even crazier than I am so I won't be a big deal to him".
