You're absolutely wrong. The Talmud and various rabbinical evaluations of the Torah allow certain parts to be ignored. Look at the haskalah movement. Hell, under Napoleon, rabbis were state appointed bureaucrats, not community leaders.

Either way, the Torah wasn't even an article of Judaism until the Jews were driven from Israel and the religion required portability. If you're a traditionalist Jew then you should move to Israel and go back to temple-centered Judaism with blood sacrifice.

The Torah has been an article of Judaism since Moses led the Jews from Egypt. You're thinking of the Talmud.
