That's fucking hilarious, holy shit. The funniest part is, he goads them into despising him so their coverage is even more blatantly unfair, and the media's unfair coverage is picked up on by the viewer, making them side with Trump after he planted the idea in the viewer's head that he's being treated unfairly. Even if an actual negative story that deserves attention breaks, it won't be taken seriously at that point, because people are so sick and desensitized to the media's unfair coverage.

I don't know if he's doing it consciously or unconsciously, but either way, it's almost comical to watch him toy with the media. It's like the media are a bunch of children armed with pillows, and Trump is some guy walking around in a suit of armor, daring them to hit him 24/7.
