I was adopted by them as a preteen. They treated me like shit, so I left the day I turned 18. They have been trying to contact me ever since and I won't have it. So they resort to snooping around seeing who they can bug that might know me.

I guess they're really proving that, huh? I guess there isn't really much you can do other than make your social media accounts private/friends only so they don't have such an easy time stalking you. Maybe tell your employer that they're crazy and if they call in asking for you they should tell them that you don't work for the company anymore. Honestly if I were in your position I would be curious as to what they have to say seeing as how they've gone to such lengths, but I doubt you'd want to entertain that idea.
