Current gf has an obsession with me in my teen years and my first girlfriend - it is impossible to reason with her when she gets started and she literally spends hours looking at old photos while in a hair-trigger emotional state. She gets angry, she gets sad, she gets clingy etc. but it's like Russian roulette in that you never know if she'll blow your head off the next time you speak to her. Would have never gotten involved with her if I knew she could get this obsessive.

I have a clingy, obsessive gf. The highs are high, but the lows are really low. Having someone threaten suicide because they think you don't live them because you spent only 5 hours with them instead of 6 is fucking awful and wrecks your mental health over time.
