No, you have three or four years left.

>>
>>34923115
i'm also 23 and i feel like i still have time. khhv, no drivers license, etc etc
>>
>>34923120
that sounds pretty good actually

>>34923140
yeah same
my family says i fucked up already and i should've done this and that (fucked up 2 college courses, no job etc), but i'm just starting to understand how everything works, it's pretty terrible.
>>
no, there is time to get life back on track.
>>
>>34923115
It's not too late. But usually the problem is making even the slightest change to your life. For four years I have struggled and the only thing I have changed is my breakfast.
>>
>>34923115
Nah, I'm 23 and I know I still have a few more years. I'd say by 28 it's too late.
>>
Satou-san was 22 when his change began
>>
>>34923240
Stop trying to make small changes and make big ones. It's actually easier.
>>
>>34923115
It's too late once you give up.

For some people, 16 or 12 was too late for them to fix their life.
>>
>>34923115
Never too late to become an entrepreneur. Sadly, people don't like to take this route
>>
>>34923425
How much capital would a person need to get started?
>>
>>34923264
Yeah but he became a wageslave
>>
I didn't fix my life until 29 and did it in like a month total.
>>
>>34923650

What did fixing your life include?
>>
>>34923678
moving out of my mom's house after years of being NEET and getting a good job in a completely different state
>>
depends on how good your skills are (social, study, etc)

an MMO riend who used to be a hopeless wageslave bottom feeder loser with no degree kept building his social skills via steam friends, got a gf through it and fucked her, kept tryharding and is now studying in college as a chad dudebro lifter type with hundreds of facebook friends and multiple girls basically sexually harassing him all the time at age 29
>>
At 23 I thought I was a lost cause. I'm 30 now, approaching 31, and I didn't start making any great changes in my life until I was 29. Things are pretty good, and would have been even better if I'd started when I was 23. 23 ain't shit, you're still young as fuck. Go after what you want because it only gets harder the longer you leave it, friendo.
>>
>>34923583
Virtually none, depending on how you want to start. I had a friend who would go around and purchase specific decorations from large retail stores in the local area, and would then resell them online for 3-4x their price. He was making like $1k/month at his peak. The thing that trips most entrepreneurs up is that they enter into a business with competitors in it and that requires a decently large cash outlay (for example, starting a restaurant). The guaranteed way to make money is to find something with no competitors that's small, and then use profits from this to fund larger ventures
>>
>>34923823
What if I had around 26,000 dollars?
>>
I feel this too. I'm not NEET or anything so I acknowledge I have more mobility than some people here but I feel very hopeless because I've been working menial jobs since leaving home and I've failed college every time I attempted to take classes. I don't even know what I want to do with my life.

tbqh I mostly feel depressed all the time like there's no point in trying, but I know that if I don't do anything I will regret that as well
>>
>>34923636
Damn that ending bummed me out.
>>
I'm 23 and I feel that now is the time to change. It didn't seem possible before but I'm glad it's not too late. Sometimes I forget that I'm actually quite young; I feel like an old man sometimes.
>>
>>34923212
>fucked up 2 college courses, no job etc
would you say that you dont stand academia thus getting an high paying job anon?
are you too stupid?
>>
>>34923115
You still have like 50 years ahead of you, so no
>>
>>34923115

It's never too late.

The two great illusions of being in your twenties are:
>(1) Life happens by itself, I don't need to actively move it forward, plus I've got plenty of time!
and then
>(2) Oh god, life didn't happen because I didn't make it happen, but now it's too late and I'm fucked!

The vast majority of people never really live, just keep going blindly on a trajectory began in their teens.

Getting older really does give you intangible wisdom that wasn't knowable or guessable until you gainde it through experience. One aspect of that wisdom is "examples of other people's lives" that you'll start to accumulate. You'll start to notice that most people are actually wasting their fucking lives and miserable. And you'll start to notice that shitloads of successful and happy and actualised people didn't even have their big awakening of "what the fuck am I doing with my life?" until they were 28, 35, 45. Half the grad students I know are on their second attempt at a grad degree or their third grad degree and second career change altogether.

At 23, you're at a MUCH bigger risk of putting a bandaid on the problem and wasting another five years, than you are of not having enough time to fix things.

Try to look at your twenties as one big hazy mulligan period. Your twenties are there to set up your thirties. If you "waste" the years 21-28 trying and failing to be a painter, but then discover in your 29th year that you really wanted to be some other thing, then the first phase was just the gestation period of the later realisation, and what matters is that you enter mature adulthood with a good sense of where you want to go.

t. old as fuck
>>
>>34924767
what meme degree do you have anon
>>
>>34924887
>hate "moving life forward" because I'm incredibly lazy
>no passions or anything
>most people prefer doing something, anything, to doing nothing, I prefer doing nothing to doing something
>wasted 20s, didn't accomplish anything, only tried to when forced to
>now 30yo neet

nah, my life isn't ruined because I ran out of time, my life is ruined because I'm just an inherently bad person, because I don't have goals or ambitions and never did. I'd be pathetic regardless of how much time I had.
>>
It's never too late, unless you're like 60+
>>
>>34923115

I'm 35 and still sorting things out, so no, not even close.
>>
>>34923280
So true, you gotta put yourself in a position where you HAVE to change, or you won't.
>>
>>34923115
Of course not. But start now. Like right this moment if you're serious. Clean up your surroundings until they're immaculate, delete all your porn, fix your sleep schedule and get your shit in gear.
