I don't think so.

I'm an INTP and I'm socially competent. I've had several successful long-term relationships, have slept around, and have a handful of close friends. However, I don't tend to seek out new acquaintances or partners unless I feel a definite "click." Most people don't offer much to me in terms of conversation, which is at least as much my fault as it theirs.

However, I'm used to spending time alone. There are plenty of activities and times when I'd prefer to be by myself than with a group. Going to the movies or eating at a restaurant without company doesn't bother me - I've long since stopped worrying about whether strangers may judge me.

The brunt of folks in my classes or at work either like me or are ambivalent to my presence. People who get to know me usually respect me, in one way or another.

Don't feel entirely accepted by society, but it doesn't much bother me.

I have read the INTP though process. It seems to me you and me both dont know enough to pass judgement, take it for temporary truth that these people are INTP, probe them, and form an opinion. But not something so surface level as one reply.
