there's no miracle cure man, the best thing you can hope for is to find good company irl. online friendships are harder to maintain because it's easier to neglect the idea of a person than a real one. they're also not as fulfilling. it took me 17 years to find a friend that wasn't a compromise and i still feel lonely sometimes. my point is that even though an optimal situation isn't perfect, you should still try to optimize your life. online friends isn't optimizing.

That hurts, man. This happened in real life to me too. Back when I still had friends, it confused me why I was never invited to anything until I realized that they didn't care for our one sided "friendship" at all.
