"Manlet" is bluepilled as you can get. I'm 5'8" (taller than both my parents) and have been approached by three women who were around the same height and one who was taller. I'm not attractive at all. Women are individuals and have individual preferences, they don't all prefer 6'+ plus men even if they end up dating one. That's your problem: you see a woman with a tall man and assume she only likes tall men and all women must be like her, but she's probably dated short men before and might do so again in the future.

I have never been bothered by being 5'7". even after the years of manlet threads it doesn't phase me at all. it seems so meaningless, like saying you have a disadvantage due to eye color or ear curvature or something.

Being tall isn't as awesome as you might think. Girls don't just start dropping their pants. In fact, many people are intimidated by me to the point where it's hard for me to make new friends. Shyness comes across as hostility, and anxiety comes across as anger.

I've actually had girls tell me that they thought I wanted to kill them at first (I didn't).

It isn't bad, don't get me wrong. Still, I guarantee that, if you woke up eight inches taller tomorrow, you'd be very disappointed.

5'9-6' is the average range. <5'9 is short and >6' is tall.

If you put a 5'10 guy next to a 6' guy there is almost no noticeable difference. People will really only notice height once there's a 4+ inch difference. Plus the universal rule is that all guys add an inch to their height.
