Fuck it, why don't we all start to train boxing or any martial

I already did that, it's a fun sport. Even just hitting pads and shit is fun and it's good exercise. I'm afraid if I did it now I'd get dental problems, even with a mouthguard I'd be nervous.

Oldanon here. Part of growing up was "fighting" with our friends. Sometimes we'd use one kid's dad's boxing gloves, other times it would just be wrestling. Without realizing it we were learning how to take care of ourselves. There was nothing better than "fighting" for an hour and then sitting back with a 2-liter bottle of coke.

These days no fighting allowed and you need a prescription to get more than 16 ounces of Coca-Cola.

Boxing is a great sport. I've trained for a year now (I am 18 too) and the results are showing. It will definitely toughen you up, anon.

I have a purple belt in bjj, train usually 4 days a week and was involved in amateur boxing when I was younger

Grappling is a fantastic sport in that you gain alot of functional strength, balance and fitness to benefit you in other sports, it's a good method of releasing some aggression in a positive way , and is fantastic for mental health

Id advise anyone to take it up , I've seen it work wonders for guys who have been in bad places in their personal life
