I've hit rock bottom! A neet at 18 due to my blunders, there's no one I can blame! I should have been in uni right now, but no, I am at home still living with my parents and living the same as I have always lived for the past 18 years.
I had a programming job when I was 17 but lost it due to always being late, I was finally working towards something but I let my bad habits come through, and now I'm reaping what I sowed!
I haven't developed as a human since 16, still, the same man making the same mistakes and living with his same family!
I will never find love. My awkwardness and obliviousness don't help! I once had a girl like me, but I couldn't see the signs. She assumed that due to my non-reciprocal actions that I did not like her. And now I'm left at home looking back on my youth at all of the wasted opportunities and just wallow in my sorrow.

I just want a job so I can at least start doing normie stuff. It seems like I've gone through the free trial period of life, that being 0 - 17, and now the pay to play stage. I don't want my teens to be wasted and finding a job is crucial for that.

Learn a trade.

No one is going to bitch at you for not having your life completely in order at 18. If you were over 30 then absolutely.
Take this time to sort yourself out and figure out what you're going to do with your life, but the important thing is to remain productive, even if you're sitting at home all day.

If you are in the UK take exams and apply to uni straight away. It's incredible, it got me out of my shitty house and you I get 10,200 pounds a year which you only have to pay back when you earn over a certain amount.

You're 18 lad, being a NEET at 18 is nothing to be ashamed of or feel bad about. You have plenty of time to turn things around.
