I had a Semester at university that was similarly lonely. Everybody I had met in years prior had either dropped out, went to a different campus or did an exchange semester. The only person I ever talked to was the occasional phone call to my parents. Check out at the supermarket is all automated and I almost never ate out.
Weirdly enough I felt less depressed and alone than right now. I go eat lunch with one or two people I know once or twice and that's my social time for the week. Somehow talking with them makes me even more depressed, seeing how much they have going on in their lives and how I am completely empty. Also hitting 25 and realizing that the chances are almost zero for ever having anything resembling a relationship with a girl or actual friends to do stuff with.

It sounds gay because of your nasal inflection. Speak more from below (your stomach) than above in your nose/mouth, and focus on properly enunciating your words.

Straighten your jaw, don't mouth-breathe. Look into Dr. Mew's (Mike Mew?) videos on nose-breathing.

Your pacing is poor. Read the text with consistent pacing. Do not speak as if you are reading to a class. Memorize text if you must to avoid "Reader's voice syndrome".

Don't read in a consistent flat tone. You don't need to have radical voice inflection like a Southern Californian girl. In fact, I suggest against it because it only makes you sound shrill and intellectually infantile. Allow yourself to relax, but (again) speak tightly and enunciate all of your words.

Here is an example of a woman who speaks eloquently. Consider imitating her and listen to replays of your voice until you speak like her.

I assume you're American, so don't worry about mimicking her accent.

I've seen this video and some others as well, but I couldn't get myself to sound "better". I mean, I know belly breathing and stuff, and whenever I try to speak from the speak from the chest in my opinion I just sound worse.

Though my voice naturally is low, but it has no manly tremble or anything, it's like just a low monotone sounding. Speaking from stomach only amplifies it, but doesn't add much to the voice.

It's true that genetics sticks you to a certain vocal range (which can sometimes be trained anyway), but it describes nuances and vocal habits that influence poor voice control. People who speak through their nose or throat can find a significant improvement by changing that with constant attention and correction to their speech. There's many other things that are a factor as well.

You can either sound like a young faggot or a young adult, it's up to you. Don't blame the guide when you're too weak or confused to follow through with it.
