you just keep doing it until it clicks. math is the backbone of practical physics/engineering so you should try to get proficient at it. treat it like any other topic. it's pattern recognition and applying proven methodology.

I'm a ME student in diff eq's right now. i grinded through my calc courses by actually using the textbook for the review problems. i would check my answer against chegg/wolfram until i was reasonably sure i wouldn't fuck up each type of problem.
for studying for exams, i would google and print off 2 or 3 practice exams and try to do them timed. i found it to be the most pragmatic way to study. it simultaneously helped me realize my shortcomings and got me faster at taking exams. write up cheatsheets as you test yourself. i end up getting A's or B's with this tactic.

i'm not cut out for math. i don't like math. but i've gotten pretty good because i want to be an engineer one day. stay diligent anon. you can do it too.

think i did pretty well on my bio 2 exam today. skipped stats to sleep so i can stay up and study for ochem exam tomorrow.

turned out my exam is on friday. kind of a great feeling. spent the night unproductively dicking around. should have reviewed human anatomy but w/e.

I fucking hate physics. They teach you like 4 simple kinematic equations and then some simple formulas but when you proceed to do the problems at the end of the chapter, each problem is like 10x more in depth than you realized. Why are physics textbooks so fucking shit when teaching analysis in an analysis based course? Its not like that with chem or math where all the info you need is in the textbook
