Its so simple yet impossible to replicate at the same time

Anyone can take an 808 drum kit and slap a 32nd note triplet MIDI pattern on the hihats, make a slightly distorted sine wave sub bassline, and make a high pitched twinkly instrument repeat a simple melody over it and rap in triplets

The EQing/compression of the drums, giving the sub enough high pitched resonance that people on shitty speakers can hear the bass but people on real subs cant notice it, getting the hihats really tight and beefy (when hihats are by nature the opposite, even simple 808s), making the snare nice and tight and unintrusive, making the vocals really beefy and crisp through just the right amount of parallel compression, coming up with a catchy melody that isnt overly complex or corny while being original, having non-corny sounds in general (hoodrats have an uncanny ability to determine corny from non-corny synths)... thats the reason why these negroes make millions and you autists stay sad in soundcloud threads
