but friend wise it will probably be a good chance to work on your social skill and try to make friends or even a girlfriend if you go to the army
you can live in a kibbutz with all the other soldiers that made an aliyah and there will be a lot of people there in the same situation like you- alone in a foreign country so it will be easy to make bonds with people.

I've been living here for about 9 months now.

If you have no life back home, yes, it's good here. If you immigrate, they write you a check for something like $8000, cheap housing, free intensive Hebrew lessons for a year, and a free college or graduate degree. Women are all hot af and not into roastie culture. Easy enough to find a qt (sadly, anime is not a thing here at all)
Also, army will turn you into a real man.

I'm poor af back home, so I stayed here to take advantage of some of the programs here. I definitely gained a lot out of it, but the salaries are significantly lower here than in the US for software engineering, so I want to move back.
