It's a sellers market. Been generations since there's been any significant culling of the male population and typical occupations and life in general aren't remotely as dangerous/fatal as it used to be. I'd consider it pretty safe to say there's more men around relative to women than any point in history right now, and as a result the cock stock price is at an all time low. There's a lot of other factors involved but I think demographics is probably the most base one, a substantially more boys than girls under 30 according to the census iirc, so women don't really need to do anything well and not be flushed with options anyway.
