I started coming to /b/ in 2005 then migrated to /r9k/ almost as soon as it was created. Then I watched it devolve into the cesspool it is now.

I only started counting when it started hurting.

why are people so intent on leaving? i like it here, i can have a friend for a thread or pour my emotions into a post with no repercussions. even if someone on here hates me itll probably only be for a thread before we get 404d and i never see them again.

It's bloody hell. You always try to convince yourself there's no point in browsing, but 10 min later, you're on /r9k/ or /pol/.

Lots of the things are repetitive, I have at most seen 3 original threads in the past 6 months.

It's always the same rhetoric, but at least the memes are worth it.

Because I spend an average of 10 hours a day in this site, it's destroying my life.
I should be learning skills and developing relationships, specially at my age, and I don't want to end up like those 25+ threads
Seriously, it's pretty pathetic to be 19 and have no life, but be 30 and still have the same prospects as you had when you were 15 is tenfold worse.

It's been 2 months since the start of the year and I've been writing down my activities and how much hours I spend on it a day.
Aside form basic necessities, all I do is browse 4chan/Youtube with the side OS tweaking.

This is too pathetic, I don't want to be like that 10 years from now.
