Since January 3 I've applied to 193 jobs. I keep a big spreadsheet of jobs I've applied to.

I've gotten some calls from recruiters about temporary work processing H-1B visas, reviewing contracts, and working in financial compliance.

Had an interview as an administrative assistant for in-patient rehab at a hospital but I was told I was "overqualified" for the job. I can understand, they want someone who will work there for an extended period of time and for me it would have been a 6 months to a year thing.

Also had an interview at a Starbucks that went well but the site is still under construction and I don't know when it'll open.

Hoping to hear back about a couple of court positions I've applied to soon. Those would probably be my preferred job, but I have a feeling they are pretty competitive so I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much.

I applied for a couple part time retail jobs, might apply for one more today while I wait to hear back from them.

I just want some extra money until I move in a couple months.
