>get out of a relationship because girl wasn't comprehensive, was boring as fuck and also very clingy
>understand that's just the nature of girls
>feel desperate for a gf three months later
I fucking hate being human.
>>
If you're a fun person yourself then you should be able to have fun interactions with anyone even if they're boring.
>>
>>34813785
thats not really true
>>
>>34813753
>I fucking hate being human.
I relate with your emotional sensation, normalfag.
>>
Nah mate, sounds like you might just be boring and thus attract boring girls.

My girlfriend is very clear headed, ambitious and well read, and we can talk about politics, philosophy, literature, history, sociology etc. and the minutiae of daily existence together. It's probably you.
>>
>>34813842

shut up cuck, the men are talking

I know similar feels, anon.
>break up with gf because she and I wanted different things out of life and could find better people for eachother, even though we both were still really into each other
>slowly spiral from enjoying singlehood to lonely depression
>>
>>34813753
Nature has conditioned women to be boring. It allows them to meld to an interesting and productive person easier, thus ensuring the survival of their genetic line.

Males are supposed to be the entertaining and productive ones, to attract those boring women to want to spend time with us. "Clingy" is just another word for loyalty.
>>
>>34813842
>we can talk about politics, philosophy, literature, history, sociology etc. and the minutiae of daily existence
wow you sound really intelligent. what was your last conversation with your girlfriend about? i'm curious what intelligent people talk about with each other
>>
>>34813859
Don't like the bitter reality of your own mediocrity?
>>
you can't be that boring if you've stuffed a literal cat inside your bag...sick? maybe, but not boring
>>
>>34813785
Nah man.
>didn't play vidya
>didn't read fiction shit books
>didn't watch sports
>wasn't into art
>wasn't into movies/series
>said she loved to sing, but she was the second worst singer I know
There was only 1 (ONE) interest in her life and it was to shit talk about her friends all fucking day long.

>>34813842
That's most likely true.
>>
>>34813871
Sarcasm or serious question? Knowing the quality of people on this board it could be genuine, but I'm leaning towards sarcasm.
>>
>>34813873

You're the one bragging about being as dumb as a female
>>
>>34813871
Not him, but me and the wife last had a talk about when a fetus should be considered human, and not just a clump full of cells.

While measurable brain activity would be considered ideal, it is also impossible to know when that comes into play, so she wound up agreeing with me on a detectable heartbeat.
>>
>>34813883
Are you OP? If so, what makes you interesting?
>>
>>34813893
Dude, he was bragging about having an intelligent girlfriend. If anything, it's about knowing a girl as intelligent as a man.

I mean, it's still kind of cruel to brag about having a girlfriend here, but you're either a) dumb with the reading comprehension of a preschooler or b) a useless misogynist not willing to own up to his own failings of personality that mean he cannot attract a mate.
>>
>>34813885
why are you being mean? not everyone can be as intelligent as you, you don't have to insult the rest of us. i just want to know more about the things intelligent people like you talk about. you probably have a lot of unique and interesting ideas on those topics you mentioned and i was wondering if you could share one.

>female
>gf of r9k poster
>intelligent

okay
>>
>>34813956
Well, I'm a bit of a fascist, and she's a bit of a socialist, so we have long and intense debates about which is the better system.
>in b4 "lol feminist leftie gf"
No, she's only a feminist in the sense that Simone De Beauvoire is one. She hates the modern movement.

We also talk about different philosophers, what we think are the causes behind the modern individualistic narcissistic society and the like. And then of course, sometimes we just talk about our days or friends or cute animals. Can't only talk about intellectual stuff- it makes you take everything too seriously (and come off as a wanker).
>>
>>34813899
Yes. Also,
>do play vidya and know a lot about it
>have read various manuals, though not many actual story books
>know my fair share of sports and what team won what, etc.
>really into art (draw really good, had art hosted at an art expo, can 3D model stuff, 2D animation)
>love cinema and like animation series/films a lot too
>know 4 different programming languages, have won some competitions out of it
Not much, but that's what I can think of. All I can say is that I have a ton of interests.
>>
>>34813969
Look dude, I come here out of morbid curiosity. I usually go on /lit/ and /his/. I don't pretend to be an average robot- I have a gf I love, a great job, a good relationship with my family and good friends. I only come here to garner insights into how other people think about the world.
>>
>>34814010
can you give a more specific example? i hear a lot of intelligent people saying they like talking about those things but i don't really know what they mean.
>>
>>34814022
Well, other than art, most of those will actually bore most girls, unless you're into gamer gurlz XD. They're kind of, NEET basement dweller type guy interests, which will usually turn girls off you.

I'd advise you start reading some literature, maybe find music you like etc.

You find girls boring because they often don't really enjoy the kinds of things you like.

Your best bet for finding similar minded girls is cinema and art, and maybe video games (plenty of girls who draw and watch art house-y films). Maybe mention the other things a couple of dates in.
>>
>>34813883
>didn't play vidya
Neither did the woman who became my wife. She really sucks at video games, no matter how much she practices (she spent months practicing at Mario Kart, for example, and never got the hang of it, even with me trying to teach her how to drift). She still enjoys watching me play video games. She's currently enjoying the story of Ace Combat 5, and has asked me to play Ace Combat 0 and 4, although that will have to wait, as NieR Automata is coming out soon.
>didn't read fiction shit books
Fiction is mostly shit, so why would you care if she read it?
>didn't watch sports
That's a plus for me. Sports are nothing more than bread and circuses for boring people, in my opinion.
>wasn't into art
Define "art."
>wasn't into movies/series
Most modern movies are garbage. Now if she's unwilling to watch something like John Carpenter's horror trilogy, or Jacob's Ladder, then that would be a problem, but modern movies are all shit, and its a good thing that she's not into them, in my opinion.
>said she loved to sing, but she was the second worst singer I know
I'm not one to throw stones in that department. That said, my wife does play piano, and I love her all the more for it.
>>
>>34813842
>philosophy

Your whole relationship is shit and it will die out. Later.
>>
>>34814124
Not him, but why do you say that?
>>
>>34814102
>Fiction is mostly shit, so why would you care if she read it?
I'm gonna take umbrage with that statement. Have you read any actual literature, as opposed to John Green?

Your gf is a dumb dumb
>>
>>34814099
My interests are fairly normal for a regular guy (except maybe for the big inclination to 2D animation).
Dude, all I said is that it bummed me that she didn't have any interests at all. I would have enjoyed the relationship a lot more if all of our conversations weren't about "how x girl I didn't know was a skank".
>>
>>34814160
Take umbrage with that statement. I don't care. The vast majority of fiction is absolute shit. The amount of good fiction books are overwhelmed by the bad ones.
>>
>>34814188
The vast majority of media being shit isn't exclusive to fiction. You could make the same statement about virtually any creative medium.
>>
>>34814188
Why is /lit/ shitting up this board now?
