A lot of men just don't fundamentally understand how much it destroys women mentally and emotionally after being played by a guy they loved. They basically lose all trust in men, become wary, afraid of men etc. They lose their idealism, and even though it's a completely impractical and often absurd idealism that characterizes women (particularly white, western women), it's also very beautiful and quintessentially feminine - at least from our culture.

I love that women are sensitive and delicate. And I think men should be protective and loving and selfless for their sake. Ideally anyway. Things rarely work out that way unfortunately.
