>wage slaving at cash register
>customer owes me $3.52
>he gives me a fucking 20 dollar bill and 55 cents
20.55???? WHAT KIND OF FUCKING AMOUNT IS THAT, LET ALONE FOR SOMETHING THAT COST 3.52!!! NORMIES ARE SO FUCKING STUPID
He clearly only has 20$ bills and some change, he gave you the 55 cents so you don't have to fumble around with small change and can just give him $17 back.
No wonder you never made it beyond that shitty job
he didn't want a bunch of extra coins
most people just don't do it because they assume you'll screw up and short change them

the change ended up being 17 dollars and 5 cents so i still fumbled with change anyway
20 dollar bill would have been easier since i wouldnt have to count his change

I do it because I have a phone in one pocket, and a gun in the other. Not looking for a shit ton of change.
Of course, I usually pay with a card.

Don't you mean 17 dollars and 3 cents? Or are you just that bad at your job?
>>34791634
the numbers aren't exact but i ended up giving 17 dollars and a few cents
>>34791660
He gave you a minimum of 3 coins to get to the 55 cents, and you gave him back a maximum of 3 coins. There's no shame in eliminating the number of coins you have in your pocket.

Dude are are you fucking retarded? No wonder you do a job that a well trained monkey could do more proficiently.
He only has 20s and gave you change so you didn't have to sperg out with small change.

THAT'S TOO MUCH WORK FOR TOO LITTLE PAYOFF
JUST GIVE ME A BILL I DON'T WANT TO COUNT YOUR MESS OF COINS IN YOUR HAND REEEEEEEEEEE

I got out of paying a debt thanks to coins. I owed like 800 dollars to an apartment complex that I never moved into, and 5 minutes before the office closed, I brought in 50 dollars worth of pennies in a backpack with my cellphone camera out and going. In my state, you don't need both party's knowledge/consent to record. Just dropped the bag of 5000 pennies on the desk, and told her that I needed her to count it and provide me with a receipt.
She said that she wasn't going to do that, and that I could come back tomorrow. I told her that I had just recorded her refusing to take payment during normal business hours.
Held up in court.
