The flu seems like something minor to many young adults or otherwise healthy people but the flu can literally destroy an elderly person or an immuno compromised person - like it can either kill them or lessen their health for the rest of their life. It's usually advised that these are the people that stand to benefit most from the flu shot but also if everyone vaccinated the flu wouldn't spread as easily so it wouldn't get to the immuno compromised as easily in turn.

I'm not ruling out vaccines being dangerous and one of the main arguments i heard was 'well doctors are medical professionals they wouldn't give patients something that is dangerous, they wouldn't be aiding in some conspiracy to poison people' but really that's illogical doctors are just doing their job. I consider myself a bit of a nutter but I try to stay grounded in stuff that has some legitimacy.

Xeno-estrogens have been actively allowed to or otherwise put into the diet of modern humans in order to keep us docile and comfortable with living in close quarters with other people. The vast majority of plastics release compounds that mimic estrogen when they begin to degrade, and most aspects of our lives we come into contact with plastic because it's cheap and versatile. The amount of free testosterone in men has been slipping by a small amount every year (I think the figure was something like 1.5-2%), this has been happening at a slow rate since the 60's and then has been speeding up since the 80's, all the same time frames that plastic has been becoming a greater and greater part of our lives. This has the knock-on effect of lowering sperm counts, which may be contributing to some form of population control but I've got no evidence for it. All this is pretty loose anyway other than the lowering testosterone and xeno-estrogens in plastics, I'm just making loose connections. I've worked in food service for years and the amount of plastic that food comes into contact with of dubious quality before it even reaches you is astounding.

The sugar industry is killing first world countries piece by piece, it's more addictive than sugar, has disgustingly similar practices to the tobacco industry and is being actively propped up by the government through huge subsidies to keep it competitive with other, less sugary foods.

British Petroleum (Now BP) did the same thing in the past to a high degree of success before a stable government was able to do anything about it.

The security around Area 51 is kept so high because it's a Air Force research base and to keep up the conspiracy of alien technologies being kept there. Without solid evidence to the contrary some governments might think twice and if the US has things to hide it would keep them in more secure, more secretive locations, Area 51 is just a convenient patsy. It's unlikely that much of anything top secret even still happens at Area 51 because of the constant civilian surveillance.

Vaccines are by and large a helpful force in medicine and I don't think that the government would risk putting anything in the vaccines because they're handled and injected by untrained volunteers in most cases. However, it's very probable that a whole bunch of vaccines were contaminated at various points throughout history and the medical companies with the contracts found out about it either before or after they were distributed but kept it hush hush because it would not only destroy their credibility and their ability to get any large contracts ever again, it would also destroy faith in vaccines and very few people would choose to get them. As a personal note my uncle has MS and is convinced that it was caused by a vaccine he had when he was 4. The reason for it is that something like 30% of the people that had the same batch of the vaccine that he took now have MS or have died from it. Which is pretty compelling considering how low the incidence of MS is in the general population. Considering that MS is caused by an immune response triggered by a virus it fits pretty well.

Large, internet based companies are giant data collection services that sell your information to anyone that wants it, including advertisers and any sort of government that wants it, this information could be used to identify possible extremists and have them under surveillance to determine whether the threat is genuine or not as well as targeting ads towards people to convince them to spend their money of frivolous shit.

Big Pharma probably has more shady shit going on that just not admitting shitty vaccines but that's pretty much conjecture. There's a huge profit to be made in treating and not curing a disease but I don't know how easy it would be to keep it under wraps. I would think a martyr somewhere would release it to as many people as possible before being shut down under a mountain of lawsuits and legal fees.

Having worked in the pharmaceutical industry I would have never thought I would have said this, but big pharma doesn't want you to get better and just wants to continue pumping you full of meds that will mask symptoms while not treating the underlying cause. I agree with you but in a slightly different way. I believe the meat and dairy industry have huge and far reaching control on the population at large. There's a lot of evidence that excessive meat and dairy (ie more than once a month maybe, preferably none) is extremely unhealthy for the human body, and yet meat is very often the main course of almost everyone's meals. I've also never seen vegetables or fruits advertised like meat. Where I live there's a radio commercial that comes on fairly often advertising pork, and that's it. They just tell you to eat pork.

That's the main reason why obesity and cancer has skyrocketed in the first world. America is one of the worst offenders of course. I've seen many doctors and not a single one has ever mentioned a change in diet because I'm not fat, even when I was suffering from horribly painful acid reflux. The worst part is that nobody cares. Just because you don't notice it doesn't mean it's not happening. It's also a relatively small amount, making it harder to notice. A lot of effects build up over time, especially in regards to heart disease. This gets worse as you age as well. When I drink milk I get fairly bad gas. Not terrible, but still pretty annoying and smelly. Even if that's not a terrible side effect, it's still a sign that something bad was happening. My brother lifts quite a lot and even got a full body stat check at the doctors showing how healthy he is even though he ate ice cream every night. Doesn't mean there's no effect.
