In my opinion, a normie is somebody with desires like having social contact, friendship, fun, love, companionship, success, conformity, etc whilst a non normie is somebody who doesn't.
I'm definitely a normie since I attend university and experience these same desires despite not watching tv, listening to mainstream music, not following popular culture, having no friends and being a KHV. I'm trying to work on these desires since they make me feel miserable at times, either I need to remove them or fulfil them and both are extremely difficult.
imo most anons here are just deluding themselves into thinking that they are above everybody else.

You can accept things for as they are though and still try to see the positives. I can accept the fact that I will die one day, that there is probably no afterlife, that all we are are the interactions of the environment that have formed increasingly complex behaviors, but that doesn't mean I can't still hold on to optimism.
