Real Estate is a chad's game.

They don't hire manlets or ugly people to sell something worth hundreds of thousands. There is a study how beautiful people are more trust worthy. Its hard to sell a house when you are unattractive and considered untrustworthy.

You can buy and sell any asset. There is no economic law that says that real estate needs to always increase in real value.

If you have money and patience but it's also bullshit money you make on it.

eg. I bought a small house in a busy city for $1,010,000. This area has gone up 15-20% every year for the past 5-10 years. It will be worth $2 mil at this rate in just a few more years.

But I can't actually get that money out ever because all the other houses are going up as well, so if I sold the house, I could only "get the money out" by then renting a tiny apartment or something.

I'll probably keep the house for the next 30 years though and then sell it to retire on by moving into an apartment then.

If you can buy a house in a budding area for 100-200K and hold it 5-10 years you'll make money.

But you need to have money first do that.

Yeah it's easy if you have a small loan of several million dollars like Trump did.
