Alcohol is most used because parties and shit, acid was by far the most fun, tried it twice freshman year of college and still get flashbacks from it (3 years later). Every time I've taken acid it was really relaxed and ejoyable. I just couldn't keep a thought in my head for more than a few seconds. The couple times I did mushrooms it sent me through the roof and just wouldn't stop. I experienced hallucinations so strong I couldn't tell myself it was just a part of the trip. I don't get anxiety but fucking shrooms make me panic like no other. All in all I would do acid over mushrooms every time

See I'm the opposite. I've done L probably 8 time and mushrooms probably like 12. I've never had a bad trip on mushies but yeah it is very intense. I think you get more out of it that way plus I don't always want to be tripping for 10 hours. I've had a couple bad trips on L and not that I don't like it, I'd just prefer mushrooms.

1P-LSD and 1A-LSD (aka ALD-52) are basically indistinguishable from LSD.

AL-LAD is somewhat less potent, a bit shorter duration, and mellower than LSD from most reports I've read

ETH-LAD is slightly more potent and slightly more intense

Ever since I took 3 pills ive been psychotic as a result perpetual anxiety, paranoid ideation, delusional thinking which has become worsened through not dealing with it and long term substance abuse.

I feel like this instance might have been the trigger to my psychosis.. what do you lads think. I legitimately thought I was going to die. Symptoms have persisted for 10 years, and ever since that day I became a complete autist.. it feels like a switch got flipped.

Acid lasts longer, and at least for me, is a lot more energetic than mushrooms, which usually have me on the floor rolled up in a blanket. Also the visual effects are a bit different at medium-high doses. They both have shifting, crawling, moving textures, etc, but mushrooms tend to make things look more cartoony and bubbly, and acid makes things kinda sparkle and take on an iridescent appearance.

I don't know about psychosis, but I heavily abused MDMA and MDA for a couple months, including a couple binges lasting for two or three days. After I realized the harm I was doing to my body I stopped, but since then I've dealt with depression and social anxiety, as well as a just general lack of ability to empathize with people. Ever since then I have withdrawn from social situations, severe anxiety, and paranoid ideation but it could be worsened by the post acute withdrawals from methadone I am still experiencing. I used to think when I was coming off my maintenance drugs (for heroin addiction) that it was just underlying mental illness.. maybe there is something to it?

My mental state keeps declining and cycling between severe depression and manic states which could be resultant of chemical equilibrium being established

As far as acid vs shrooms go I liked acid a lot more but I took shrooms first. Acid gave me deep introspective trips that were 12 hours long. I used to dose by myself on the weekends and just lay in my bed and think about life for hours. It's also very visual and when I licked and unknown amount of lsd off of a container that had been used to hold countless Altoids with liquid LSD dripped on them after taking 3 hits I stared at a lava lamp mesmerized for hours.

Mushrooms always made me feel confused and stupid. My first trip I thought I formed an empathetic link with a tree I was sitting in smoking pot and started crying because the tree was sad his parents died. The tree's name was Bruce by the way. I would take mushrooms when I didn't have LSD but I would end up taking a hit of weed and then just standing there confused with nothing going through my head for 15 minutes and then take another hit. That would repeat for hours.
