when i move out of my parents' should I wane down on my medication? Fuck all I want to do is live life without meds, but I feel like theyve already fucked up my brain too much to fully enjoy it. Also, my sister was diagnosed with memepression and my mother has put her on meds. I really want to have a talk with her and maybe make her change her mind, because when I was her age I didn't understand the magnitude of taking meds.

I really don't know, I started taking meds at about age 13, after I was diagnosed with aspergers. What I think my parents wanted was to make me happier more often but the physical strain of some of these medications makes it hard to maintain a consistent sleep schedule and my motivation is always a roller coaster.

Klonopin and Zoloft.

Klonopin for my anxiety disorder and Zoloft for my depression. I dunno if the Zoloft helps any, but the Klonopin has helped me control my panic attacks.

Can you read.. the psychotic symptoms are already present.. 25mgs is a baseline dose dude, there isn't even neurochemical change taking place in the brain... 25mgs is strictly off label for anti-histamine effect

Some are repeated, a bunch are otc and not psych meds, and all the others are at a pretty low dosage - the list looks long but it's not actually that many.

Lithium

2 psychotic/manic breaks, first at 19, then I stopped taking meds and was fine for some time, then a psychotic break at 23, so now lithium.

Psychotic break being thinking you're telepathic, hearing voices, not sleeping, having to be restrained in hospital, etc.

Anyone else on any TCAs? I'm on 100mg of nortriptyline, 100mg of Lamictal, 50mg of adderall xr, and a whole bunch of stuff for sleep I haven't been taking recently. I already tried all the SSRIs, srnis, other antidepressants (Wellbutrin, remeron, Buspar, probably a bunch more I can't think of right now), 2nd and 3rd generation antipsychotics, and now I'm working my way through the rest of the anticonvulsants and TCAs. I've been on all sorts of combinations and dosages a lot higher than the maximum it's approved for - at this point it feels like I should just give up since there isn't anything else to try and I'm still so depressed I can't function at all.
