>Watch anime because it distracts me from my shitty life and makes me happy, even for a little while.
>Go through the most extreme depression after finishing a show, cry a lot after usually.
>Still get emotional months later listening to certain anime songs.
This can't be healthy but I feel even worse when I don't watch anime since I have nothing to take my mind off of life.
I love anime OPs
they bring back such a sense of wonder, hope and happiness

Such is the curse.

>they bring back such a sense of wonder, hope and happiness
extremely accurate

This feel is too real.

They just make me sad now because i can never go back to school and do it right. I will never have friends and live an essentially carefree life doing silly things and going on vacation together.
No matter what i do, i cant go back and have that. I wont ever know a happy childhood. I just want, i want more than anything a second chance. Id probably fuck it up anyway but i couldnt end up worse than this. Why'd it have to be this way?

My anime watching has all but dried up. Last airing thing I watched was Kekkai Sensen (oh and Valkyrie Drive lol). Other than that I haven't watched any new shit in years, just revisited some old ones.
I'm down to like 1-2 a year.
I just want to keep watching R.O.D. the fucking soundtrack and feels
>can't watch anime anymore because you're way older than all the characters and being reminded of high school makes you feel depressed
anyone else?
glad i enjoyed all i could from middle school to high school, but it's over for me now. just too fucking depressing to see teenagers experiencing love and all that
>Drowning out the sounds of your family yelling at you and talking shit about you with anime music.
I never wanted to know this fucking feel.

I know this feeling all to well. After watching a show you were really invested in, I (we)usually experience what is called the void, where you feel just voidness in your soul and ask yourself whats the point in life if I cant experience such bliss as in High school slice of life animes. Its really sad and depressing.
