Buffalo sauce on everything, ESPECIALLY tendies
Sauce is for normal fags or robots with lots of cash.
Been eating them dry for so long I think i prefer them this way.
Tomato sauce with a bit of chilli in it, cause I'm a fucking normie reeeeeee etc etc

man nothing wrong with bleu cheese or ranch

I like them dry too. I find that most of these sauces take away from the amazing flavor of the trendies.
>not saying all sauces are bad
I prefer buffalo wings/nuggets with ranch, myself. For regular nuggets, I like to use ketchup mixed with some Sriracha. You just drizzle some Sriracha on top of the ketchup and the nuggets mix it up as you dip.
I started doing this after trying Sriracha's new ketchup product. But Sriracha ketchup is not nearly as versatile as ketchup or Sriracha, so I buy them separately. Many sauces are improved by adding Sriracha, IMO. Sriracha blue cheese dressing, anyone? Actually, I haven't done that combo yet. I'll have to try it.
You should try Tabasco sauce on your nuggets. It's great if you like vinegar.

Homemade sauces are usually cheap. The cheapest of all sauces is vegetarian gravy, which is traditional with chicken. You can absolutely afford to make vegetarian gravy. Most of the flavor of gravy comes from the roux, or browned flour paste, so you don't lose much by eschewing meat drippings. Meat drippings just add umami, and soy sauce is a cheaper source for this flavor anyway. I suggest substituting onion powder and garlic powder for convenience (suggested ratios linked). If you do this, you can just put all of the ingredients in the pan, mix them together, brown them, and then add the water. This will save you 10 minutes. Substitute butter or vegetable oil for margarine if desired. Substitute milk for water to make a white gravy.
While I'm at it: Add sausage to white gravy to make sausage gravy, which is good on biscuits. Regular gravy or white gravy is also fine on biscuits if you don't want to bother with sausage. This makes a nice side dish for your nuggets. Biscuits are another one of those really cheap and easy things to make. Same goes for sausage crumbles for that matter, which is just ground pork, salt, and seasonings.

Ranch, duh. Honey mustard is a nice second.
Arby's sauce. I don't eat there really. I do go in to take the packets of sauce for home.
