Yes to those who are boring themselves. And to the ones who never got to know him better. We know him better, in a way, as we have read his autobiography. He was a deep thinker and an exceptional individual for a guy of his age. But obviously not anything that's wanted in his cultural environment. Such a loss he had to go.

It's just the way you want to read it. He did something wrong so you want to punish him by making the most negative interpretation of him that's possible, by picking up only the parts indicating he could've been one dimentional individual. But, if you read carefully, he wasn't. He was obsessed with sex, but that does not mean someone can not be a deep thinker, but is one dimentional. If someone does not understand all the aspects of human behaviour, it does not mean you can not be a deep thinker either. He was actually very complexed, multidimentional individual, even psychologists admit that.
