Well there's a lot of gay gfycats we delete, and some trolls that post neckbeard comments (usually in irony) that we have to delete. Plus a shit-ton of reposts, but those usually take care of themselves.

pretty much all of them. i hate the upvote/downvote system. if you look at the posts in the thread that get the most downvotes, you'll notice that they're virtually all the best, most insightful comments. that pisses me off.

i just hate the smug passive aggressiveness that defines the attitude of the users there
i hate their insane moderation, they claim to be logical/intelligent people yet even subs like r/philosopy ban anything that challenges their worldview

it's pretty much the opposite of 4chan, they need everything to be so carefully controlled and curated so everyone can feel welcome. going on reddit is like a different planet from this website, it's so bizarre.

Reddit isn't about having discussions and interacting with people who share interests. It's a big fucking popularity contest. Everyone is fighting for upboats and it becomes a big fucking echo chamber where certain opinions are upboated to the front/top, while any dissenting opinion is downboated and buried. People meme constantly for those precious upboats and it's all just a big dick waving circlejerk of worthlessness.

reddit could be fixed if there were no subreddit mods, and all curation happened with upvote/downvote (as was originally intended)

How can you judge reddit as a single entity when there are so many diverse subreddits? I agree that the most popular subreddits are all garbage, though, since the voting system doesn't work when there are that many users.
