Personally I could never get into serious art for long, my frustration with my errors just makes it unenjoyable. I tore my sketchbook in a blind rage when I couldn't draw a safe after 2 hours of trying.

My hands twitch around too much to draw straight so I know that pain all too well. I even know to use the arm instead of the wrist but it still turns out shitty because my hands just move. It doesn't help I can't pick up on the mental gymnastics involved in drawing from life.
It's not a good hobby if you're already hard on yourself. It just felt pointless because I couldn't share it with anybody and my family patronized and criticized me on a frequent basis when I did. I don't regret dropping it, it didn't bring me any joy.

Art takes time and my hands do not know patience nor focus.

I keep on thinking about buying one of those tablet things but I dont have the time or motivation.

My advice for getting more encouraging comments when starting out is to draw fanart for something that's currently popular and posting it on deviantArt. It might not mean much but I find in encouraging when I'm in an artistic slump, and then I use that to fuel future artistic endeavours. Five Nights at Freddies or Undertale fanart might be a good starting point for you.

Learning to 2D art is probably one of the hardest things someone can choose to learn short of some really obscure "autist" type activity. It's one of the few skills where the "10,000 hours to be a master" thing actually holds up.

Not bad. Try to use less sketchier lines, go for one line if you can. Proportions are a bit off but not unsalvageable. You did a good job with the facial features.

Keep it up OP. I really love to write but my practicing has really floundered these last few years. Every time I read a book by a real author I feel like trash, and I have no doubt my own work is extremely amateur, but you can't give up after one failure, especially since it was just some 4chan screeching. Never take those seriously.

Don't draw on post it notes. Draw on A4 paper or in a 18x24 inch document if you have photoshop. Your linework will improve if you force yourself to draw longer lines instead of just drawing small ones.

Art is probably one of the most stressful hobbies. You are your worst critic, on top of this posting to /ic/ and them being shitheads I don't blame you for feeling like shit. But the thing with art is you will do absolutely nothing but get better, you can never get worse. Even when you feel like you aren't improving you are. Just keep drawing OP. Ive been doing digital art and drawing in general since late 2014 and while I'm not that magnificent at drawing I can tell ive gotten better. And don't post to /ic/ again.
