I've been working at various places for about six years now and literally everyone wastes time at work - young or old. The difference is they don't do it on their phone - they stand around talking in the kitchen taking 20 minutes to make a coffee, or secretly browse clothing sites on their computers etc. If you added up the total hours of proper solid work each day each person would probably average only about 5 out of 8 hours

I'm 27. I decided I want to get my life together and try and start a family somehow. I want a wife and children. I don't know if I will be able to do it ultimately but I am going to try. I have a lot of things that I need to fix which will take years, but I will try. I decided to do this after watching Clannad. It profoundly affected me and gave me the motivation and hope to try and make something of myself. I start crying if I think about it too much. I have cried a lot lately, which I previously never did. I think the walls holding my self in were finally broken somehow. I wish it did not happen so late in my life, but there's nothing I can do to change that.

I am a recluse. Suffer from depression and anxiety but I refuse to take any meds. I also don't drink, smoke or do any drugs. Straight fuckin edge. Only goes out when I need to buy groceries and supplies or when there's a decent movie showing. Nearest city is about 25 km away.

I also attend a protestant church near me twice a week. That's where I met my sweetheart.

Living an isolated but peaceful and comfy life in the countryside with my two beautiful dogs & lots of free range chickens, goats and cows everywhere. I have my own ghetto gym (old equipments I bought from a friend). Got everything I need, but still kinda sad sometimes. My gf can't live with me yet. She wants to but her parent won't let her because she is still in school. She's 17.

Come to the Philippines my fellow robots. Maybe we can develop some land that I'm planning to buy and make it some sort of haven.

Assuming your student loans are accruing more interest than you'd make by investing the money, which is likely if you're just keeping them in the bank, then yes, pay them off.

$6k is more than enough to cover most emergencies while you save back up, unless you know you're going to desperately need to make a big purchase in the near future.

I have been here for a while. I'm also immature, and have most friends in their 30s. So 10 years ago they were in their 20s.

Now some are grown up lefties and normies. I like it because it allows me to be honest, to laugh at my mistakes, to give advice, to feel included.

One of the biggest fallacies is that your personality changes as you get older. This only applies after 25 or so, as teenagers and young adults do change.

And also, when you get into your 60s you do tend to mellow out - the hangups become less important.

Generally though - i'm here because im a fat bastard, with low self esteem. Not an autist or got asparagus, but with some big issues nonetheless.
