I've always wondered what the bars are like on weekdays

I am too socially paralyzed to ever set foot in a bar of my own volition.

i tried doing it once but i got nervous before i opened the door and i walked back home.

I thought i was too but eventually i tried it and i had a decent time; never made any friends or really talked with people; just small talk with bartender and drinking and eating

i like going to dive bars at 15:00 on tuesday. i'll drink a pitcher of the cheapest beer, smoke cigarettes, and read a book or research journal. then once i start getting drunk i'll usually join the conversation that the 3 other people in the bar are having. it's a great way to spend an afternoon

Weekday divebars are the absolute best, the earlier in the week the better.
