How do i stop having disgusting thoughts?

will meditation help,should i just allow them to pass? i get intrusive thoughts too and am probably schizo

The only thing you can do is stop identifying with your thoughts and realize the mind is a tool.

You are supposed to pick and choose the useful thoughts and ignore the rest but right now you think you are the thoughts.


It's impossible to stop having specific thoughts since the process is automatic. You can't even tell what your next thought is going to be.
