How long have you been NEETing it up, OP?

7 years here, ama if you want got nothing better to do at 5am.

I've been NEET since summer 2012.

30yo living with mummy.

No, I made a run for it in the normie world for a few years. Movied out, went to Uni, fucked a few girls, then had a gf for a few years. Worked a few odd jobs for a bit.

Ultimately I didn't have the stamina for it anymore. Stopped going to school because I was tired of the bullshit. Broke up with gf because I was tired of her shit. Lost track of friends because I didn't feel like socialising any more. Quit work. Moved back to my home town into my old little room. Became a shut-in.

The grass isn't greener on the other side, at least not for me. This NEET life is better.

Believe it or not chads life is hard. You have to work hard at a good job, you have to keep your appearance good, you have to socialise when you don't feel like it and believe it or not, girls don't just throw themselves at you.

I'm on (euro)welfare and give a little more than half of it to my mum to help with grocery money and the bills. I cook my own meals and do my own laundry and such, help out around the house when needed as well. I spend a lot of time quietly in my room and since I'm a nightowl my day only partly overlaps with my family. They get the mornings without me and I get the nights.

I would say I'm more useful than a burden for the most part so getting kicked out is unlikely. If it would happen there is always social housing though.

Hmm yeah, same my dad's pretty cool,and I help out too though he's really trying to get me to get a job. More for my sake desu, cause it's a lot harder to find work when you're older especially when you don't have any job experience.
He had me late though, so he's getting up there in age. I feel like I really need to get out on my own cause knock on wood, if something ever happened to my parents I'd be fucked as far as life is concerned

That's why I'm thinking about college, I already have a shitty arts associate so I only need 2 more years. I really don't want to end up working at like a fast food restaurant, or bagger etc. to make ends meet later on. Got to grow up sometime I guess..
