I don't want any more of us to suffer.

I went from being a homeless, paranoid, violent, friendless alcoholic to becoming the manager in a large office, living in a nice home, having a beautiful and loving gf, fixing my relationship with my family, getting on and staying on the right meds, and going to therapy at least once a week for two years this August.

I still struggle hideously with mental illness and sexual issues but, fuck. Holy fuck guys. I'm in a good place and I can say for the first time in my life that I know everything is going to be okay.

It took me being involuntarily hospitalized for months, seeing specialists and spending money out of pocket for years to find the psychologist and psychiatrist in currently seeing who have actually helped me. It can be a nightmare to find the right people but dude, it can change your entire life. Your day-to-day, hour-to-hour, minute-by-minute life, forever, if you're able and willing to really work for it.
